Reporting in from Trujillo!

Apr 21, 2008

Greetings Cafe Loved Ones!

We are having a wonderful time with Mario and Sara and all the people of Trujillo. We hope you had a good time with Tim Katon last night.

Here's a report for the last few days. The weather continues to be beautiful!

DAY FOUR - Friday April 18th
It was an easy day and I preached at "a conference" which just means a meeting at a hotel. They had posters and tickets that they were giving out and there was even a radio ad! It's hysterical to hear my name on a spanish advertisement. And Mario has me listed as a prophet - help me Jesus.

Breaking the atmosphere was a little hard at first, but we got it started and we were dancing and dancing! It was a large hotel room and quite full - perhaps 200 to 250. After the praise and worship we were taking testimonies of healings and one woman had experienced a visitation and a healing. She had the Holy Ghost all over her so before I preached we had a healing line and she was laying hands on people who needed a healing.

Mario had picked the theme of the meeting as Deut 28:12 - The Lord will open to you his good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands. So in my preaching I talked about covenant. I shared about the curse in Genesis and talked about thorns, thistles and thickets being a sign of working and toiling without harvest, but Jesus took the crown of thorns to the cross to redeems us from that curse and that we could walk in prosperity, harvest and blessing.

I preached and ministered and the glory was wonderful and it got thicker and thicker as I was ministering to people with lots of words of encouragement and freedom. It was a glorious, healing, awesome, snotty, crying, sobbing, bodies everywhere, wonderful mess! What absolute fun! I had some ladies trying to keep me up as well as bodies going every which way! Janet was holding a couple of ladies for a long time as they cried and cried and God ministered to them. People were awesomely touched and were still sitting around in the glory at 11pm when we were done. Mario was amazed that people didn't want to leave and go home.

DAY FIVE - Saturday, April 19th
We had a day off and we had an afternoon at the beach! It was a good thing because the anointing had been so strong the night before, I was still pretty wasted! The four of us had a beautiful lunch at a restaurant overlooking the beach, sitting outside under umbrellas. Janet and I walked on the beach and got pounded by the waves. The water is surprisingly cold here!

At the Beach!

We were talking about what fun it would be to bring a small team here, work at building something for the church in the Miracle, have some revival meetings, and let the team have a day at the beach. There's an inexpensive motel right across the street from Mario's house where the young men from Washington State are staying. We started to strategize how it would be possible.

Miracle Outside the church in Miracle

I went back to the hotel to work on my sermons for Sunday while Janet had an adventure shopping with Mario and Sara. I needed to have two ready - one for Hope I and one for Miracle - and I wanted to be sure to hear the Lord for them.

I have been having many dreams and impressions from the Spirit. It's been an intense time for me!

DAY SIX - Sunday, April 20th
The Church at HopeI felt impressed by the Lord to speak on the Weapon of Joy at the little church at Hope, a poor town on the outskirts of Trujillo. They do have electric at Hope but no water. It's the kindergarten building during the week. The young men from Washington, Luke and David, worked on it and expanded it by more than double two weeks ago. It is high up, on a sand dune that has been caught by the mountain, with a view of the city of Trujillo down below. There is more of a poverty feeling to Hope in comparison to Miracle, although there seems to be no real difference in the natural.

The "congregation" at Hope was about 20 women and maybe 5 men and close to around 100 little kids! (Help me Jesus!) We had a wonderful time of praise together. Fedrico didn't know that I was going to preach on joy but picked out songs like The Happy Song. It was a Holy Ghost set up. They knew that their Father in Heaven gave them good gifts and they were telling me about all those gifts! So I told them that there was an enemy who wanted to steal their good gifts and the way to fight the enemy wasn't by the way the world fights, but that we fight with weapons of the love, joy, praise, righteousness, peace, the word of God. I was telling them how to take over the atmosphere with praise and dance and celebration and showing them how to pray for each other and release Joy. I had them laying hands on each other and releasing joy from heaven and we ended with a fire tunnel of joy - and it was absolutely delightful and even the women seemed to perk up some.

At the end some came to me and asked me to pray for healing, so while the purple pudding was being given out to all the children, I had a healing line going on outside in the street. One lady came from down the street because she could hear the music and noise. She had a headache for two weeks, and God healed her head, back and legs. She went totally out in the spirit and was laid out, going down hill upside down, beside the building for a long, long time. I wish I had a photo of her. She got up totally healed and went home! Praise the Lord!

The team packed up the little sound system, we had time for lunch. I had time for a little nap and off we went to worship at Miracle 2. It's a very big walled complex and a big worship building and a small kindergarten building. This is the building that we built the ceiling for!

Miracle Miracle Gifts at Miracle

We had a wonderful time of praise and dancing with the kids. The kids were dismissed and we worshipped. Their was a short testimony time of healings and I preached on God's plan for women, Oneness in Genesis 1 between man and woman, and how Jesus interacted with women which was so radical for the culture and laws of the day. Then I moved into Unity and the meaning of that word in Psalm 133 and how God will bless unity with the Commanded Blessing.

The first night I was here in Trujillo I had a dream that ended with "2008 is the year of the commanded blessing." It felt so huge to me in the dream that it was still with me when I woke up.

I ended the ministry by anointing with oil (that I brought from Israel) all those who wanted to be in place of oneness and unity and the blessing and prosperity that the Lord gives. I prayed for healing for some folks and then I anointed with oil at least 150 kids and prayed for them as well.

Mario said that they fed purple pudding to about 250 kids so there was close to 400 people there last night. Again, it was a wonderful night in the Lord.

DAY SEVEN - Monday, April 21
It's afternoon already and I preach tonight at a meeting here at the hotel where we are staying. We've been eating over at Mario and Sara's which is just 10 minutes away.

We've taken lots of photos between the two of us and we hope to do up a web page in the next day or two.

Love and blessing to all,
Thank you for your prayers!

Dee
